Hello!
We are a Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, specialised in Donkeys, close to the lovely village of Tarbena in the mountains of the Costa Blanca, Spain.
Our purpose is to give old and sick animals a good home and for the younger ones, a lot of fun!
In the valley of Col de Rates in the Sierra de Ferrer, where the famous river Del Algar starts, we are taking care of ( at this moment ) 12 donkeys, 5 dogs, 5 mini pigs, 25 cats a couple of wild rabbits and a parrot. They are all enjoying the peace and good life.
Just come and visit us and enjoy a day in the lovely nature.
Surrounded by mountains, it’s a perfect place for a lot of activities like,
hiking by the small rivers, going for a ride with our donkeys, mountain bike, meditation,horse riding, photographing and filming, donkey therapy and a lot more…
Bet You are hungry after seeing all the impressions. You have to try our home made dishes like real German Curry Sausage, Meatballs or patatoe salade. Of course a lot of our vegtables are from our garden.
As well You have the oppertunity to spend the night underneath the stars and between the donkeys. We have a tent put up, also you can bring your own bed if you want.
We are an association of volunteers and all our income is from donations.
All donations are exclusively being used for food and caring of the animals.
You can also help the donkeys by adopting them.
As well, we are always looking for people who wants to help us taking care of the animals.
